All of our trips involve a private car with driver and an English speaking guide.

Having a professional, experienced and knowledgeable guide at your side during your trip is indispensable. Not only will this individual provide you with in-depth historical information on the sights you are seeing, he or she can place it in a modern day context, sharing aspects on cultural norms and daily life in the area you might not otherwise have the opportunity to learn. The further you delve into the wonders of this region and the more you experience some of the realities people face, the more questions you will have. Having a personal guide throughout your stay ensures that you will get the most depth and meaning from your trip.

Some like to pack the days full and others feel that traveling should be like savoring a good wine. You will be greeted at the airport by your personal guide and driver and transported throughout your journey in a private air-conditioned car. The standard car is a 4 door Toyota Corolla or equivalent. We highly recommend trying a cyclo, tuk-tuk, or motorcycle taxi to take short trips to restaurants, markets or sightseeing around town. It’s an easy pleasant way to take in the vivid scenes on the streets.
